i tried searching but i couldnt find anything that really answerd my questions. First i wanted to know the differences between a usdm b16a2 and a jdm b16a2. i would like to know if there are differences in pistons. i know that some b16a2 come with pr3 and some come with p30. which ones come with which? is there anylinks that can explain the differences or can some one explain. thanks

 

usdm = 10.2 compression

jdm = 10.4 compression

 

The major difference is the pistons

JDM B16s came with P30s
USDM B16s came with PR3s
Hench why the compression is higher in the JDM engines

Also some say the cams in JDMs are more aggressive but I think its BS
