89 Si crx problem (it skips a a certine rpm)

89 Si crx problem (it skips a a certine rpm)
i have got a 89 Si (d16) crx and recently it started to skip right before 3k rpms, it always does it at that same spot in the rpms. I did not change anything on the car to encurage this, it started on its own, I have no idea what it could be so if anyone has any ideas please get back to me.
