Default gsr blades w/ tire size

Is 205/50/15 a good size for my 94 ls, I have 17" rota's right now with 215/40. I wanted to buy it from a friend I know but he's selling it for $500 bucks, and I think that's a little expensive... any suggestions?

That size will be fine. BTW, IIRC the stock size is 195/55/15.

Yes, you can use either 195/55-15 or 205/50-15; either one will work. (BTW, on 17" wheels, 205/40-17 is a much better fit than your 215/40-17.)

If you need summer tires, through the end of this week, there's a great deal on a very good summer tire at the Tire Rack. You can get the Dunlop Direzza DZ101 in 205/50-15 for $48 per tire and then get a $50 rebate on a set of four, so you're paying $142 plus shipping for a set of four tires. That's an awesome price on a very good tire.

Stock size on a '94 LS is 195/60-14. Compared with the stock size, 195/55-15 is 1.0 percent larger in diameter, and 205/50-15 is 0.6 percent smaller.

I am mostly into G2s, but I thought we were the last ones to get the 14" rims (90-93). If that's true then I guess not. And yea, that is the same size ours came with 195/60/14 on all DAs.
