Default wheel hop

I got a 97 accord 2 door lx 5sp. When I launch, my front wheels hop a lot. Any suggestions to correct it. I got new rims, struts, springs, and i dont know what is going on.

motor mounts. do a search it is real easy to do and you should come up with reasons for the mounts effecting (or is it affecting) such an occurance.

Go on over to the hybrid and forced induction forum and look around, some of those guys complain of bad wheel hop with mounts or mount inserts, then go back to OEM rubber and it goes away. Its anyones guess.

Motor mounts replace the entire mount, but the inserts fill in the spaces in the stock rubber bushings in the mounts.

tire pressure and alignment does not help. it wheel hops still. im thinking about replacing the motor mounts, how hard is that to do?

learn to launch the car and wheel hop will go away, hop is created by not finding the balance between throttle and clutch and the car jerks and bounces the wheels off the tarmac
also do not keep doing it if you cannot seem to correct the problem, wheel hop is what also snaps axles

dont forget about wheel hop stressing transmissions, the frame of the car etc. If it is hapening to you at the track make sure you are not getting your front tires wet as well. Everytime I get a little bit of moisture on my tires in my accord or when I drove the civic my car would wheel hop even if I launched it properly.

it hops when its wet or dry. I dont know what is going on. It does it sometimes and doesnt do it sometimes. I always launch at 2500.

does it do it moreso when the tires are only slightly wet (i.e. when only certian spots of the tires are wet) No mater what tho I would, replace / add insterts to, your motor mounts.

well the front and side ones should be easy to get to the rear can be hard but geguardless you will need to fins a way to suport the motor while an engine mount is off just to prevent anything from falling.
