Default '88 si trans on '91 std

ok, i have a 91 std and an 88 si trans but ive heard 88s have different splines.anyone who knows for sure please tell me if this will work.

The transmission is a straight swap over. Just use a 1986-1989 Accord clutch disk with it.

No. The number of teeth on the input spline is different on a 1991 vs a 1988 clutch disk. So your 1991 disk won't work. Also, the 1988 clutch disk is too small to work with the larger 1990-1991 flywheel and pressure plate (unless you convert to a 1988 flywheel and pressure plate, which is another option). So the simplest way to deal with this problem is to use a 1986-1989 Accord disk. The Accord disk has the same number of spline teeth as the 1988 disk, but the same diameter as the 1990-1991 disk.
