Provided it was the MPFI wiring that was added at the ECU, yes you need to keep that. Anything else will need to be put back to stock.

You need...
P28
OBDI conversion harness
Distributor conversion harness
VTEC/O2 subharness
OBDI distributor
4-wire O2 sensor
OBDI injectors and grey injector plugs (optional, remove stock resistor box if using)
Injector block off plug (looks better if using OBDI injectors)

You don't have to use the OBDI injectors but it makes sense if they're already in the intake manifold. If you're going to use them you have to remove the little injector resitor box on the driver's side shock tower, install the grey injector plugs on your harness, and put the injector block off in place of the resistor box...or just solder all the wires together and wrap with electrical tape. You also have to extend the IAT plug a few inches as well as extend the fan switch plug from the back of the block to the thermostat housing (it uses a different plug on OBDI). If you don't want to mess with it, just send your harness to RyWire and they'll do everything needed. You can either make your own dist. harness and VTEC/O2 subharness or buy them, I bought the dist. harness and made my own subharness. You'll pretty much need a sacrificial Z6 engine harness to do this stuff yourself but it's really not that hard. I'm far from an electrician and my conversion came out perfect the first time.

Go to RyWire.com for what you need. They have outstanding customer service and do excellent work.

Yes you can, just keep the resistor box and white injector plugs. However, you're going to have to spend around $30 for new injector gaskets if you're going to put them into the Z6 intake manifold.
