XSi Cable Tranny Problems

I'm trying to find out if anybody did a hydro to cable conversion. I did it on my Ek and installed a 6 puck ACT hydro clutch in it. The motor was shipped from Japan and for some reason they changed the spindle and put one from a hydro. But thats not the problem. Everything was fine until the cable that runs from the clutch pedal to the tranny and would come unhooked because it was lose. So i had to tighten it all the way down and it works some what but i wanna know what is causing this even when the clutch should last a lot longer then the tranny lol. I hope this problem is repairable. I prob thought about rebuilding it but maybe there is something else needed... Any tips??? Thanks!
