Default Noob to H-T Going through de-rice

Whats up? I'm new to this site, but been in the Honda world for several years now. I have a Milano Red 95 LS.

For awhile I had the white Motegi MR7s, but switched over to some gunmetal with polished lip 8 spoke wheels last week. I haven't gotten to take any pictures yet of the new wheels on the car. They flow much better with the new carbon fiber hood.

Before:

After:

I've retrofitted HIDs into my car from a Infiniti FX-45, and would say my car specialties are electronics and detailing. I do all kinds of LED retrofits, from tails/turn to Police cars. Here's some vids of the retrofits:

http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=ledbyj

I'm currently getting rid of my LED'd euro lights, and working on a set of 98+ tails:
Here's a couple of early modification pics:

Running:

Brake:

Turn:

Partial Install:

I hope I can help you all out as much as this site has helped me. I should be at the 29th Nashville meet, and went to the past Bowling Green meet.

Good sh*t dude, loving the cop lights. I'm also de-riceing my bucket which came with an interior spray painted with the ricer color of choice; red..hmmm.

It's a drum. That picture was taken on the civic that I bought them from.

Yor teg is clean, but LED taillights, CF hood and new rims is not a "de-rice." It's more like ricing it out.

looks like some good progress

I like the originality of the tail lights, I was wondering what some would look like, but it appears that you are going some good custom fab work

its looking nice,

I say keep up the good work,

I plan on changing to LEDE taillights for safety reason,

I'll be installing Semi truck LED lights into my tails,
about the same when cruising, but when I hit the brake, Much brighter,

Welcome to the forum and make sure to read all the rules,

I think you guys might like the LED tailights if the lens wasnt clear,
and if there was some type of scuffed lens infront of it to difuse it evenly,

Did you space the LEDs out? I have seen many many more LEDs in that size area before,
it was a board of LEDs, it was a sqaure board full of leds

If I put the LEDs about 1.5 inches away from the stock lense, they cover it evenly. The LEDs I am using are too bright to really put more of them in there. Yes it would look more even, but it would be a waste of lighting. If I was using dimmer LEDs, I would have more in there.

Flame suit on....bigtime..... JDM is the new rice, everyone is getting it. I like originality and elbow grease. Make your car yours, not factory Japanese. Do the Japs want to make their cars USDM?

I will say that the JDM front is sexy, but it is getting overplayed now.

I second that notion, jdm is the new rice . Jdm this and jdm that, don't get me wrong its cool to have some jdm pieces here and there but some taking it to the extreme and now everyones car looks the same. Everybody and their momma got a jdm type r front.

Dude, you would be a big hit at HIN w/ all those lights!
Imagine how much money you could make if mass produce those tails and heads w/ the strobes/flashers.

I got my wire harnesses today! I also caved to peer pressure and decided to redo the layout of the LEDs. (after looking at the original layout through the lenses). You'll have to wait for the lense pictures.

New Pics:

Old Vs New Half/half:

New LED Grid Completed:

Backup Light...I angled an extra 6 LEDs for added backup lighting to the side:

Read the posts, he took the pics when the wheels were on a Civic.

You are an idiot for putting them police lights on your car. Unless you are an officer or something, but if you drive around the street with them, even when they are off its serious trouble.
