well, i was looking thru my repair manual and it doesnt really say how to change this. i see where it routes and everything. but since this is my first bike, i dont see how the cable comes out of the lever and down on the tranny. its probably something really stupid i havent tried yet. anyone have a good idea?

 

a hammer, some fire, and a roll of ductape has never failed me.

my manual basically says this

CLutch cable replacement
1. remove old cable
2. re route new cable
3. installation is opposite of installation
4. adjust to spec


no pics either

 

follow the cable alllll the way, you might want to take off one of your fairings.
then follow your manual. hopefully that will make it a lot easier.

 

i just dont see how you remove it from the lever
