Default Used CBR600f4i

I'm looking at a couple of Honda CBR600f4i's and i was wondering what is the maximum number of miles they should have. I'm looking at from 1999-2002 and i've seen a couple with 16000+ miles. is that too many?

F4i Started in 01. Before 01 its an F4 and is not fuel injected. Hence the lack of "i"

Why not `03?

01-03 = Best F4i.

My buddy just rebuilt his f4i engine with 68,000 HARD miles on it, id say 50,000 of those miles were stunting and dropping the bike, bouncing off rev-limter burnouts...and hes only rebuilding cause he starved it of oil....(12 o clock for a LONG time, clack clack clack bye bye engine)

Yea, F4is will be pretty bullet proof and you shouldn't have to worry about miles unless it's really really high.
01-03 is the first generation of the F4i, and has a split seat design
04+ have a banana seat, but are otherwise exactly the same (save for color)

F4is won't be the cheapest bike on insurance since lots of people get them, and lots of people have created bad driving records with them.
The insurance on my 01 RC51 is cheaper than my 03 F4i, through the exact same company, with the exact same coverage.
