Default A few more pics, alittle progress :o

Hey all been working on my car alot lately. Heres the latest pictures.

Been through some times as of lately, but everything seems to be turning out ok. I just cleaned the interior up and all, but I don't care for the interior stuff I used on the dash etc. The windshield is getting done tomorrow so I will have to reclean dash probally from them touching it maybe? heh.

I cleaned the carpet, it looks much better in person, bought some carpet and upholstry shampoo from home depot for like $6 maybe, works awsome. I thought I trashed the seats cause they were so dirty but the red really has been brought out in the middle and they look great in person. I only have the drivers side mounted with 2 bolts, and pass side with 1 bolt for now. Once windshield is done I am making new seat rails and using these seats till I get some mint ef si seats or get something else.

Picture of the hood unfitted, the hood brackets were bent when the oem metal hood came unlatched, I need to bend the bracket about 1/4" more. I made rubber stops on the support where the headlights bolt to with some black door 'stops' or something at home depot, they are rubber and PERFECT height, puts the hood at perfect height for the fender. The hood didnt have the hole for the stock rubber things heh.
I'm putting hood pins on as of now just for the safety. I have a new hood cable and complete latch assy. brand new on the way, but I still am not taking chances. My bros eg does not have pins, and you can see his CF hood just pulling up on both sides by the headlights back and forth. I think its going to just tear eventually and his hood will be gone heh.

Also the amber corners I picked up off ebay, I don't like them now compared to the JDM clear, but I think they will look better when I paint it in 2 weeks. They fit awsome, and the style of them looks like a duplicate to the oem ones, the lines etc look to be in the exact space and everything which is cool. They are almost a exact match to the amber bumper lenses also.

I had to bend out the fender also where it was rolled when the ball joint stripped and let the control arm drop when I was driving it, which ripped the axle out etc. It looks great, hammered out a dent with a large socket, I just need to work on it alittle more before I start getting ready for paint.

The center console piece that houses the shifter and radio etc. was painted silver, theres a pic of it in my webshots gallery. I had soaked it in brake fluid and restored it to black but its all gouged up and scratched still, I think I will replace it in the future.

I almost gave up on it but I am glad I didnt. I am going to paint it myself at work, I just wana resheet metal one spot, and do some dent repair and fit the front and rear end perfect. Will be painted the stock bg28p, i think. I still have to throw the rims on though, but I think Ima wait till after I paint it heh.

I have a few parts on the way, thinking about getting a new center console, ebrake assy. I have brand new rear cargo carpet comming, floor mats, and a almost new oem crx car cover.

Let me know what you all think so far, not sure if youve seen past pics, you can see the timeline at the following link, and also my friends b16crx, and my bros builds.

thanks, the outside looks crappy imo, could look better if I washed it heh.

can't wait to drive it again, after I did the swap, tune up, and new tps the car ran stronger then it ever has. now I got my alternator correctley wired in also so I think I may finally get it on its first sucessful drive to work on tuesday.

Now I just need to tackle inspection and emissions :x

hard to say how I like them compared to the stock ones heh.
I had my ef hatch for about 2 years but failed inspection cause the stock seats had metal showing, so I picked up these sol seats mint condition back then and rode in them ever since.

My friends CRX has the stock seats, I really like them, but I cant tell because I never get to drive it heh. They sit alittle different in the CRX then the hatch Ive noticed. They look to tilt towards the middle which sucks, but I can't tell when sitting in the car.

I had one about mint condition stock seat, pass side. I told my friend he could have it for his car, but he hasent used it, if I ever found a drivers side I would put the stock back in for now.
Im giving the red stripe sol seats to my bro, I have another set in my room, I use them for watching tv and playing games lol.
