Default Need an answer for a customer not for me

If yur going to tell me i am stupid then i dont want to hear from u.

Have a customer with a automatic lsd in his accord, cant really afford to swap to standard right now but tranny is gone, he wants to now if we can swap the lsd unit into an f22 auto tranny, never had much experience with auto so i am not sure how hard they are to work on.

option number two is to find another h22 lsd and put it in.

thanxs

If the differential has contaminated the trans, swapping out internals would mean you'd need to go thru the valve bodies, etc. and clean it all up.
I'd say the best bet would be a replacement unit.
Trust me, when the valves get any metal contamination in them at all you have to spend HOURS with 600 grit paper and trans fluid polishing out the valve bores.
Option #2 is the safe bet.
Keep the customers problem the customers problem
