'00 d16y7 into '93 w/blown motor HELP
Just looking for a little advice. My daily driver blew the d15, and I have a totalled '00 w/ a perfectly good y7 that I thought I would transplant until I can get back to working on a full time basis. I've been told that all I have to do is the following to get this to work:
1. Swap the intake mani from the d15 to the y7.
2. Swap ALL sensors from the d15 to the y7.
3. Swap the dizzy, alt, starter, and a/c comp also.
ALSO, there is no power steering on the '93, but there is on the EK, can I also use the rack and pinion to put power steering on the EG? What else would I need? Spindle assemblies from the EK? just the rack and the pump?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
