06 GSX-R 600
i am about to buy an 06 gsx-r 600 and i was wondering if anyone out there has one and i was wondering if they are as good as the previous years holllller

If I were you I would check out Gixxer.com and make up your own mind. I know that alot of people have been having issues with their 06's, which I am sure you will read about. As in terms of performance it would be what you would expect from a next generation bike; just a little bit better across the board.

biggest problem is with the f1 light. we are still waiting on suzuki to come up with a fix for it. most people have just removed their set valve to fix the problem. check out http://www.gixxer.com and search the 06 forums, you'll find all you need to know, prob in one page since no one on that site searches.

I love my 06 gsxr 600 have put almost 4500 miles in a month and half of owning. Its my first bike and first time riding so i have nothing to compare it too. Only thing i say is pay no more then 9k out the door. If they say they can't give it to you then say ok ill go to another dealer because alot of people got 9k i paid 10k

The cool thing about the Gsxr 600 (2006) model is that I find it having a slipper type clutch easier for shifting and offers smoother engagement then on the 05. Also the Gear indicator is a plus!!! Now you can always know what gear your in. And the frame is alot more sleeker and narrower, I hated the FAT tank system. Just I.M.O.

If anybody has 10k, I've got a JDM GSXR6 with programmable race ECU...
