Default Help needed again! little bit urgent.. Unknown connector on Z2 wire tree for my A9

Hello people..

I have this problem.

I am swapping my engine, from D16z2 to D16a9 blablabla..

Now I wired the Z2 cable tree up to the D16a9.. everyone told me that would be a perfect fit and all. but ofcorse that doesn't count for me

I have a spare connector with two wires. a blue and a black-yellow one.

it comes out of the same part of the wire tree that leeds to the other connectors on the Intake manifold and sensors up to the oil filter.

on the d16z2 I first had the wire is connected on the place the red arrow leads to..

anyone?

Possibly the EVAP sensor.
Is your MAP sensor on the firewall? Is there a second sensor with a 2 wire plug sitting next to it?

Those sensors are known to switch places on various engine builds.

you mean the sensors on the engine itself?

yeah.. one with 2 plugs and one with just one single one, they are covered with a rubber pad once you connect 'em.

I have some new pictures that hopefully, put some light in this dark swapping business

over here you see the connector coming out of the cable loom.

over here you have a close up of it, as you can see there's a blue and black/yellow wire leading to the Female connector

people people help me out

now to the original situation

here you see my D16z2 intake manifold with the male connector attached to a device.

another shot

JillCRX mailed me that I dont have to connect it, and can just leave the cable there.. won't it give error codes on my ECU ?
