Refinishing your oem syncro sleeve
If you guys know how a syncro and the sleeve work, maybe you will understand me. I purchased a new carbon syncro set, the WHOLE thing, and i remember the last time i checked, the syncro sleeve was a lil worn, i was wondering if you can refinish them maybe with a dremel and make them sharp again? The concept seems to work.. what are your opinions
i asked a guy at a local transmission shop the same thing (makes sense) and he said yea you can do that to buy you some time. but i would assume it would work for a while
I haven't found a good, fast way to file the burrs/deformations down and define the teeth better yet. It's a pretty tedious job because the synchro sleeve and hub seem to be hardened and it's so hard to get a good angle on where it needs to be worked.

Not really worth it, if you file to much MATL away it will start pop out of gear.
