replacing a starter and teeth question???
Starter problems... my 88 CRX just spins when I try to start it. Like the teeth are meesed up inside. Is there a way to check that out. And is it hard to change a starter at home? Is there a web page with these kind of instructions?
thanks

im not really sure how you could fix the teeth maybe the teeth on the flywheel got messed up but changing a starter at home is easy there is the ground the power wire and the two bolts holding it on
the bendix is prob. When you turn the key, the starter spins, but is not being kicked out by the solenoid, in other words, replace the starter

So to replace the starter, it looks like I could go in through the top of the engine? Are there any hoses that I should remove to make it easier, or should I not do anything like that?
