they probably do, but how do they test bikes? and is it the same place they test cars?

 

not that i know of, we have aircare "same as smog controll" here and they don't test bikes, and im preatty sure california doesn't test their bikes either they just have to have different stuff installed on the bike to reduce emissions if they are sold in cali.

 

nothing around here to test them. It's a simple inspection, they check brake pad size, lights and signals and that's basically it

Yeah, a lot of states do a safety inspection.

 

I asked because some cali guys here mentioned emissions and since cali are smoke ***** i thought they have it. I also heard about emission stuff on bikes that people remove.

well as far as i know, they only make california bikes to comply with emissions initially to please the california ****'s. then after that, you never have to worry about it again. (although i'm not 100% sure)

 

They have to be emissions compliant but no they never test bikes. Basically they dont really care once you have it but the manufacturors make the shitty CA spec bikes we get.
