Upon acceleration recently, I'm hearing some pinging; like a "tink" sound. A female driver I guarantee wouldnt notice it and you really need to have the window down and radio off to hear it, but its there. Sometimes they tink louder than others but its always pretty quiet. Is this detonation? What to do?

well if I was u first I'd adjust ur valve lash..

DOes it do it in neutral when u rev it up?

Nope. Revving sounds delightful. I got gas today. Alot. And I used a bottle of octane booster (felt like such a ricer buying this crap) and it seems like 80% of the ping went away.

No knocking and its too consistant to be bad gas. I always go to one specific (and usually the exact same pump) gas station. Might switch to another one just to experiment though.
