Impressive... what do you average city? I suppose City is more difficult to compare since every city is different... I usually average 32mpg highway, and 27mpg city...

It depends on the way that you drive, the way I drive I probably get like low 20's city driving.

that would mean you get practically half the milage in the city as you do on the highway..which isn't very accurate

Per tank, I usually travel about 125 miles highway, and the rest city. I usually fill up around 260 (unless I run out of gas which happens often). On all highway miles, I can get from 350-400 maybe. Make what you want out of that.

I think it really depends on your car too... my mother has a 94 F22B1 Accord, and she drives extremely conservatively and gets only 23mpg... I drive mine hard and usually average 27mpg... go figure right?

On this particular tank, i was @ 455miles, and Gas Light still hadn't come on, i didn't want to run out of gas, so i filled up, it only took 13.4 gallons. I can usually get at least 420miles before my gas light comes on.

I can just scrape into the 29's on the highway, but the city owns me. It's around 16 if I'm conservative. 8 under full throttle; which happens from time to time.

My best is 34.xx. That was all highway on a trip from the northwest Chicago suburbs to Sandusky Ohio. Got all the way there on one tank. Lately though it's been a pretty steady 31.xx city/highway mix -- only about 350 miles though because I don't like to let it get real low (hey I've never run out of gas! lol)

my best so far has been 21.58mpg but that was practically all city with no more than 4-5 miles driven at one time. If I do primarily highway I could probably increase that by quite a bit.

in my 93 lx i can go at least 450 without the light. i usually fill it up by around 450 cause i don't want to risk running out. TDOT is only availible when you don't need them it seems like!

i hear ya man, these soccer moms in fairfax county are crazy. sometimes im going like 65 on i-66(50-55 mph speed limit) and i still get tail gated by mommies in their ford windstars going 85 mph, talking on the phone and changing their kids diaper at the same time. they need to revoke their liscenses
