So I got a 92 gsr with a b18c bottom end and a new refreshed b17 head. The car has been driving great until the other day when i get up around 6100 RPM'S it hesitates/vibrates until about 7000 RPM'S then goes on and pulls like normal. When i listen under the hood there is a small noise like the timing belt is flaping but its not loose and its pretty much new so i dont know what it is so please give me some info if u may know whats up with it.thanks michael

How many mile on the fresh head. I would assume its like a new engine you must brek it in.

 

well the rebuild was about 8000 miles ago. But it just started happening thats the thing.

 

get a new timing belt and get it timed.
