You mean parts from the J32 into a J30? Or the old 2.7 V6 from the Accord or Legend? Or maybe you mean the 3.5RL engine. Can you be a little more clear please.

He states that he has a 3.0L V6 so he has a 6th gen accord v6. As for parts fitting the cams should fit but I dont know of anyone testing it. Intake manifold wont fit as it is slightly taller than the one on the Accord so you would have to make changes to the hood to make it work. The intake manifold also has dual intake runners so I dont know how well the holes will line up. Pistons are too big for the Accord but I have been looking into the ability to bore out the Accords motor the 3 mm's difference that is present between the Accords bore and the CL's bore. Anything else that you are wondering about?

I've got a question, would the new 260hp type-s motor with a 6-speed tranny it into the engine bay of a v-6 accord?

as I said the intake manifold is too high and you would have to modify the hood to allow it to close. I have also heard that the motor mounts are slightly off between these two motors. Other than that it should be A-OK for a swap but I would look into it more if I were you. A good resource for swap info is http://www.v6accord.com

the accord hood would be touching the intake manifold of the CL Type S engine.

Yes but he doesnt state what other V6, of which parts he wants to swap, is talking about (Yes, I think this was proper English). Huh smarty pants?

hmm I wonder what size the throttle body is off the MDX. I could swap the one from my accord and the one off my parents MDX. Wonder if they would notice.

its probably much bigger than yours...

you'd wanna do some port matching on the intake manifold though

about that hood...the black widow hood would probably work due to the fact that it has two great big nostrals or one vent (depending on which one you get)...hope that helps!...and also...i know that carbon fiber ram air inserts are available somewhere now...you could buy a cf hood and then cut out just enough to be able to put the ram air insert in and then have a wannabe ram air hood that directs air to the intake manifold!...that would be really pointless but it's just an idea...hope it helps!
