Is it normal if you can hear the throwout bearing?

Had my clutch replaced, and also throwout bearing replaced last week. When I go to start my car (when its very cold) I can hear the throwout bearing for a half a second or so... is this normal?

I don't hear mine.
Did you put some hi-temp grease on it?

i used to could hear mine and they replaced my clutch assy.

Yeah you might hear it a bit when the clutch pedal is depressed. Not good, but not bad either. Some bearing are noisier than others . .

Well I heard it when I pressed the clutch pedal (that's why I took it into the dealership) but after the fix I can hear it for a second when turning the car on when cold...
