Default JDM ITR header? differences between years?

Sup, i bought a JDM itr header a couple of days ago and just found out that it looks different than other jdm itr headers. if you look at the top part (flanges)where the ports go into the head its design is diffent than others. Is there a difference between years in the JDM type r's? So ITR pros....let me know if my header is really a JDM itr.....legit or not.

i think the person who had the header before you modify it. Maybe to get the welds on the outside and not the inside of the ports for better flow. The header is a 98+ jdm header just the top part that bolts on the head is different.

With the new modification to the header you will not be able to run the upper jdm heat shield if you wanted to.

They're all the same except for the bottom one, which is a knockoff that's been painted flat black. And even that looks to be a near-identical clone.

i think you're right. looks kinda like they welded a b16 flange top part to the jdm header.
