Default Car Cover Question - Need Opinions

Honda wants an F' load of money for a car cover, but I found one on ebay for less than $40 shipped. Check it out - let me know what you think. Is this reliable or is it going to scratch the **** out of my car and make it dirtier.

Go to Costco, BJ's, Sam's Club...they have car covers for around $50. You can see the quality for yourself. They are indoor ones

What do you mean by "indoor" ones? I'm looking for a cover that I can use outside in my driveway. For hot sunny days that I ride my gixxer and winter days to protect my car from snow and sleet when i'm not home.

An indoor cover means it is not weather proof. You need a weatherproof one. I suggest some online companies. Even the OEM Honda cover is not weatherproof.

Ok, I almost saw the answer I wanted. So the Honda OEM car cover is basicly worthless for UV, and weather protection? So I should find some other online company to but from. Because I want a cover that will protect from the Sun UV's, Heat, Rain, Mold, ect.ect. Any help guys? Anybody know of a good olace that I can buy one that will do what I want???? Thanks in advance

i disagree, I have it and it is a great car cover, I have had other car covers, and by far this is the best one yet, this is what the card says when baught..

Weather-resistant, breathable fabric helps protect paint from the harsh elements in the environment, while preventing moisture from condensing underneath
Soft inner fabric is non-abrasive, helping to guard against scratching
Elastic bottom is custom-tailored for Civic for a snug, flap-free fit
Reinforced security eyelets are included for use with the optional lock and cable
Drawstring storage bag provides convenient storage

yes it is very pricey, but considering you just baught a 22,000 thousand dollar car, I think 1% of that will not be much considering you car will be protected. My 2 Cents. Remember you buy cheap then expect what you paid for.

If you realy want to be a penny pincher, have you considered a king Size bed sheet? that's as cheap as your going to get.

So JohnysZC you think its good with blocking the harsh UV sun rays. I am like a click of a button away from buying it and a cargo net. Opinons please??

I like my OEM one, got it for $155 and the cargo net was only $30 if you want a NICE cover that you plan on using regularly, I'd highly reccomend the OEM one

I also have the Honda OEM cover and its great. Cut UV? Damn right it does. It also keeps the inside of the car a hella lot cooler on a hot day. I put the cover on my car everyday at work. For the last several day's it has been 100+ degrees outside. When I leave work, the car has been sitting in 100+ degree temps for 9 hours. Although the car is still pretty warm inside, its not NEARLY as not as my old Civic was with the Costco cover (both Black interior).

I other thing I like about it, is that it fit's the way it should. Covers everything tight all the way down to the wheels.

What I like about the OEM is the silver patch over your exhaust, nice design.
