ecu's
can i just get my stock ecu chipped and tuned? why does everyone suggest a p28? whats a good price for a p28, p28 chipped,obd2a-obd1 harness, or a p28 chipped with a harness. ive found a virgin p28 for 85 shipped. can i just buy any chip? how much are chips? how much does it cost to get an ecu chipped? how hard is it to chip yourself? k no more questions.

that depends on what your stock ecu is.....
people suggest p28s because they are an obd1 vtec ecu. A chip kit cost around $35, then it depends on if you know anything about soildering or if your gonna pay to have it done.
I'd suggest hitting up pgmfi.org and doing some research

Get a SOCKETED ECU, with a basemap burned to a chip. (Less than 300$)

You can purchace a chip burner here, or a real-time romulator for "on the fly" tuning, and extra chips and parts.
