Default DX, LX, EX Grill

I've seen once or twice a non-si car with an si grill (but it didn't have the si emblem). Is this grill purchasable or it is just the SI grill with a detatchable emblem. Don't think im trying to copy the SI, I just want my rallye red to look good.

Unfortunately, you can purchase the grill, emblem, spoiler, DOHC stickers and Si rims on eBay.

How is the SI emblem attatched? Can it be taken off and not noticed? I don't want to copy the SI, but I hit a bird at 55MHP and he got jammed in my grill. It cracked a small peice and I figured I'd just buy the red grill instead of the gray one.

I doubt the emblem can be taken off of the grill. You would just have to purchase OEM grill or Si grill, whichever you prefer. Sorry, but us FG2 owners have already seen a few people putting all these parts on and trying to replicate the Si. A grill is one thing, as long as it is not all the parts or emblems.

I think some of you Si owners keep forgetting that you drive a Civic.

SI emblem on the grille is held on by two little screws. So yes, it can be taken off.

that's civic SI buddy! and it's by choice!! If you don't like it don't blame us you bought an FG1.

We are proud of what we own (civic or not) and you FG1 owners should do the same. There's no need to put SI emblems on a non si car PERIOD!

The grill has the Si emblem on it when you order it, but it can be screwed off...HOWEVER! This still leaves the bracket which is hideous, but it can carefully be removed with a skilled hand an a SHARP razor blade

Example..My rallye red EX with Si grill

I think I paid around $45 for mine from hondapartsdeals.com or collegehillshonda.com, i'm not quite sure.

They are factory fogs covered with the yellow lamin-x kit
