Vogue Metallic Silver is it? i never knew this, could some one please shine some light for me? i dont own a type R (yet), but i guess im what you could someone that admires these awesome machines.

Not in the USDM or Canada but, yes, you could get a DC2 ITR in silver.

very nice color, so which one is it, kaiser or vogue silver metallic? or is it one of those things when they made some of one color one year, then changed the next?

VSM was made only on the civics..
its Kaiser. for dc2 and gamma for dc5

Sometimes one color was given different names in different markets. If it's the same color code, it's the same color.

It's also possible that someone repainted an entire car. Obviously, you can do that with any color you like, including one that wasn't a factory color. You can even give it whatever name you like.

I'd love to see a blue ITR. Not too bright, not too dark, not a purplish blue... just blue. Like the Long Beach Blue Pearl on the '02-05 NSX pictured below. Anyone here good with photoshop?

the reason i asked is because i was playing GT4 this morning and found a ITR in VSM, i know i shouldnt rely on a video game, but i would think GT4 is pretty reliable since they dont rice out cars or make up BS

 

JDM ITRs were VSM

 

I thought Kaiser silver was the color of ITR USDM wheels

Some say it is.

It's also an exterior color used on the '97-99 NSX. I think it was sold under a different name in Europe... I wonder why?

 

thats a nice NSX up there, i have a friend that painted his civic that same color, and about seven layers of clear coat

 

vsm DC2Rs are a jdm only color, nsxs are kaiser silver

USDM ITR wheels are Gunmetal not Kaiser silver.

As far as color is concerned, i personally like Milano Red and the blue in the following picture:

dc2-r's came in vogue silver metallic, kaiser silver is the color of the oem gunmetal itr wheels usdm and jdm, its also a color that was availble on na2 nsx's

I think this is a resprayed EUDM ITR.


This one is a four-lug, so it might not be an ITR, but it`s still nice.

IIRC the paint on this DC is Leguna Seca Blue? Looks good to me

 

Now I think that blue is far more appealing than silver

 

the blue looks nice.. i do like the silver as well.
