Which transmission gauges for monitoring the H22's M2B4 tranny(pressure or temp or both)
As the title says. Im wondering whether I'd benefit by running a temp & pressure gauge for the transmission
The application is a fully built h22 turbo making ~400hp
What do I need to bear in mind when tapping into the gearbox, do I make use of the gearbox fluid level check bung, or are there various other points I can tap the feeds from.
I welcome your comments

Honestly I think the drain bolt is probably the easiest and most accurate way to measure fluid temps. Obviously you would need to remove it every time you go to drain it, but I'm not sure how big a sensor is to fit in there. For pressure you would probably want a point above the fluid though. I know temperature is a concern but the trans is vented so I am not sure how much pressure would be in there.
are you having problems with trannys? never seen a problem with over heating a mt with good racing fluid.
