Smooth is an opinion.

What are your goals for the suspension, and how much are you willing to spend.

Didn't you post this someplace else?

This won't make the ride better. The stiffer the spring, the "better" the handling will be, but you will sacrifice ride quality. The softest, smoothest ride you will ever get will be stock, or aftermarket springs and new shocks that only lower 1" or so.

tein h-tech will be as close to stock as you can get, with a little more than a 1" drop
Their rates for the del sol/eg civic are 190f/129r
integra rates: 296f/257r
ek civic: 212f/123r
Any of these will fit the del sol...in case you wanted it a bit firmer

I dont know the rates for the del sol, but the 92 si rates were 182f/107r (apparently)
