Default crankgear compatibility question

Honda wants $36 for a new cam gear for a d16z6 motor and my friend has a spare one out of his y8 motor he is willing to give me. Will it work or is there more or less teeth? The Z6 gear needs two of those plates that go w/ it and the y8 only needs one. Can anyone tell me if the y8 gear will work flawlessly on my z6? thanks

its showing up as part # 13621-P2F-A01 for the one i have. But the z6 part # is 13621-PM9-A03. are those two interchangable?
