Updated Review: Comptech 6.75# Flywheel, ACT HD/SS Pressure Plate / Clutch
Well, I finally put about 500 miles on the Clutch/Pressure Plate/Flywheel. I then proceded to beat the hell out of it this weekend.
This is a great combination. As I've stated before in my earlier post, the flywheel is totally streetable. I have yet to stall or anything. I've been stuck in stop and go traffic on the freeway and everything. There are no problems daily driving this light of a flywheel. I have no chattering at all. Everything is totally quiet.
This weekend, went and did some racing on it for the first time. Launching is a bit more tedious. I spun the tires something furious, cause I wasn't use to how hard the clutch grabbed. Even with a regular 'hard take off' with no wheel spin right off the line, the wheels would chirp all the way through first, and they never had before. I've tried this on several surfaces with the same results.
The shift from 1-2 is dash shattering. I thought I was gonna have my dash in my lap. Same goes for 2-3 shift. 3-4 is very snappy too. I've managed to bounce my rev limiter a couple of times cause of the quick spool up.
Overall the car just feels quicker. The engine revs a lot easier. Also, with the car trying to break loose in 1st tells me that there should be more power available.
I would highly recommend this combination to anyone. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

I got a pretty good deal and got the whole set up at just a bit over 700... but that was a special hook up...
Tried a car with a Comptech 6.75 lb flywheel and stock clutch. Extremely streetable.
This is a really good mod. No tuning just drop in and free up rotating mass.

I noticed no difference between my stock set up and Exedy clutch & Toda flywheel. Glad you guys had better experiences.
