ive been looking for an eg i would like one with an engine swap but i cant find anything but stock and there all around 3500. is that to high of a price for that car stock or not. iam just asking cause my friend got his crx with a b16 in it for only 3000. i did a quick search on this but couldnt find anything.

 

that is high for a stock car. but the demand is why the price is prolly so high. everyone hands a hatchy to tune, swap, whatever. and also, your buddy got a pretty good deal. my friend got a CRX with a k20(2nd generation) swap in his CRX, it came with everything but the ECU, reverse headers, and all the motor mounts. he picked it up for $3500. and he'll eb done at under $5k, running around 12.8-13.0. i'd wait for something to come out, like barred hatchies with swaps out of California. I saw a CRX witha b18 for $2800, just barred and he couldn't do anything with it.

yea iam kinda thinking mayb that crx because my friend just got his eg and he doesnt want that crx anymore its just the rear quarter panels rusted throuhg and i was afriad there might be structual problems and i would need that car to last through college. we know alot of ppl that could fix the rust but i dont have an extra 800 bux for everything. but he did say he would sell it to me for 3000 so its between that with rust or trying to find a eg from the south.

and the for sale section i looked theres really nothing around ohio for under 3300 with a swap.

 

thats pretty high i got my 92 si for way cheaper

 

you can find eg hatches with swaps for around 3k but they have alot of deferred maintennence/torn up.

 

i got my 94 coupe, with a gsr in it.. body isperfect.. other then the roof paint was perfect.. got it for 3000.. keep looking bro.
