Evo Brembos on an Itr?
i made a post a while ago about putting dc5-r brembos on a dc2r and some people said it whouldnt work because they mount at the wrong point around the rotor, i was just looking at mitsu evo brembos and they mount in almost the same spot as our stock calipers, so do you guys think with custom brackets these could work, cuz i see them on evo sites for pretty cheap, and they seem like a nice piece

Awesome Response
I've never seen it done before, but with the correct bracket I can't see why they wouldn't fit. Bigger wheels would be necessary of course. The hardest part would be making a custom bracket though

We drive cheap Hondas. The last thing a Honda owner should worry about is "bling".

I'll post the same thing I did in the other post: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1690247
"Although it sounds like a nice idea and I completely love the feel of my MR's brakes, I realize the EVO's braking ability is not due solely to it's calipers. I think they'd be complete overkill and more for show for anything besides actual wheel to wheel and you'd most likely have to upgrade to 17's or at least 16's with some crazy offset.
You'd have to make wood or cardboard mock ups and remove the stock caliper and see if or where you could fit the Brembo's."

It is better idea. If it is not broken, don't fix it.
