1991 Accord EX, Cooling fan has mind of its own???
Hi,
This is turning into the car from H#@L...LOL
Ok, I just put in a new radiator, hoses and a cooling fan(Old one seized) put in a new fan fuse and now the thing wants to run and run and run...It will vary its speed from fast to slow and then fast and so on ...Sometimes when the car is off the fan will turn off and then later just starts to run again.....
What the heck is this thing possessed?
Is there a controler or something that goes bad?
Thank You in advance

There is a temp sensor located in line with the top radiator hose; the next time the car is acting stupid, unplug that sensor to see if the fans quit. That is a common problem on those cars.
I unpluged the sensor at the end of the top hose and the fan ran on....Am I safe to assume that the Fan Timer has gone bad????
Thank you so much Hondadude....
The manual I picked up this week didn't have very much information (Chilton)as far as testing components.
Looks like it is time to dust off the ole volt meter...
Just took a look to locate,Boy is that thing stuffed up under the dash.lol Had to be a contortionist just to see it.Has all the same color wires but I think in different spots on the plug???Will double check, and test.
I am Honda Pro trained(on bikes 1993) I have to say They are easier to work on.lol
