Ok guys, I did a search but nothing came up...my question is, I have a 97 GSR, and Im about to install my Toda Spec Bs and Toda cam gears...but, I dont have any access to a dyno. Now I know every engine is different, but I was wondering if anyone can help me on the settings for the cam gears. My mods are pretty basic; I/H/E, clutch and flywheel. If anyone can help me out, please do so asap. Thanks in advance.

 

+2-2....intake/exhaust, right??

 

i would leave em stock till you can get to a dyno..
you'll sacrifice idle quality with timing at +2/-2, no point if
you dont even know if they're making powa at those settings.

btw.. yah that is INTAKE/EXHAUST

Good point Bombino. If +2/-2 was needed all the time wouldn't Toda just grind them that way.

 

So I should just set em at 0/0 for now until I can dyno tune. Just outta curiosity, what do you guys have yours set on?? Thanks for the replies.

 

Toda cam gears dont have numbered index marks only dot alignments to change centerline goto the todaracing site to get an english version of how to adjust.
