ok, i have no idea what the problem could be with my taillights. when i turn the lights on, they work fine, but when i hit the brakes, the left one lights up regular (becomes brighter) and the right one turns off. when the lights are off and the brakes are hit, the left one lights up bright (like normal), and the right one lights up dim. this is just the brake lights, the other lights work fine. any ideas?

 

Sounds like you have a short somewhere.
