Default Spoon S2000 @ IAS

Mr. Ichishima was very nice guy to talk to. He stated that the car will be left here in the US to be raced in some SCCA series (WC? Grand Am?). Seems most guys hanging around the booth didn't know who he was. That was good for me as they left him alone, allowing me to have a little chit chat w/ him

yshi - who got to sit in it

why are people only concerned about how much horsepower a car has, or how fast it is in the 1/4 mile?

this Spoon S2000 is a fully built TRACK not DRAG STRIP race car. it's built to conform to specific regulations, in this case, SuperTaikyu Class 4. internal engine modifications are heavily restricted, no cams or pistons. Each race it participates in is at LEAST 400km, that's ENDURANCE racing... a car that can race all out for 3+ hours is as equally impressive to me, actually more impressive than a drag car that goes full throttle for just 15 seconds

sorry, rant over

Thank you spikey... this is just like people saying "I beat an m3 today on the street!!!" They aren't drag cars.
