Default Shifting a y7...

just got a tach in the ek hatch and was just woundering where the best posiblt rpm would be to shift.....i know the redline is at about 6800, but i also know the motor falls on its face long before that but idk where....any halp is appreciated....

If you are racing, I would say close to redline, even though it falls on its face at the end of the previous gear, you will probably be around your peak power for the next gear. (I know exactly what you are talking about )
