are you serious? ductile iron is used by benson/darton/GE/LA ect its made for high compression turbo, low compression turbo, high compression na,nitrous ect.

depending on the bore is what will depend on the motors tolerable strength. ie: how much boost to compression or how much compression to boost ect

you can get a block sleeved.

if you wanna know anything useful about sleeved blocks, its not so much the material of the sleeve but the installer who installs the sleeves. this must be done by someone woh definitly knows what they are doing or you could drop a sleeve ect .
