Default Sticky door handles. ????? Any of you guys have this problem sometime

I've noticed here recently that my 06 Civic coupe's door handles dont want to open as smooth as they can sometime. Its almost like if you dont pull it just right it kinda acts like its still locked. Any of you guys experience this??

Yeah, you think the door is going to open and the handle snaps back. This has only happened a couple of times. Does this sound like what is happening to you?

Does this on my driver side, i reported it to the dealer... told them they may want to note it because if it breaks, they are fixing it. It mainly does it to mine on really hot days... which lately has been everyday.

Mine seems to open every time, but it does seem to do so with a little more friction or detent at times.

If it becomes a more consistent problem I would take it to the dealership... could be as simple as lubing a mechanism, adjusting the striker or maybe even replacing a part, either way thats why you have a warranty... might as well use it!

I have the same problem on only the drivers side. I had my dealership look at it but they said they didn't find a problem. So I have to go back up there and spell the problem out for them because I don't think I should need my gym membership to be able to open my door. lol

Thanks guys, I'm glad im not the only one having the problem. So from what im reading, unless it breaks there is no need for me to take it to the dealership.
