Noob Qustion regarding oil
I just changed the oil in my 94 honda accord for the first time, and i was wondering where i can take the used oil to for disposal? I was told that i can take it to napa auto parts? sry if this is a noob question i usually get my oil change at shop.
Besides the auto-parts stores, pretty much any place that changes oil themselves will take your used oil at no cost.
This includes places like Wal-Mart and the quick lube places.
Another thing I do is take an used plastic soda bottle, cut it in half, clean it, and use that as a disposable funnel to put the oil into the engine. No spills. Oh, and those 5-quart jugs are great for hauling the used oil back to whichever store for disposal.
