LoL
Sucks about KTM pulling out last year, but it's great that KR Proton's fortunes seem to have turned around. Now if only they could give Kurtis a ride too...again...

idk why everyone is so surprised that Kenny is up there, he's been duking it out in the to 5-8 every race this year. he is a super talented rider, and is finally back on a bike with some ponies.

Maybe cuz he's riding against VR, Hayden, Melandri, Pedrosa, and CE?

And KR won the championship in 2000, Rossi WAS riding back then. Melandri crashed pretty hard at Laguna last year, Pedrosa is a rookie.
My point is, if he has been progressively doing better this season, then when he comes to his "home track" it shouldn't surprise you that he is putting down good lap times.

I don't know about the rest of you but I was very pi$$ed and disappointed by the GP coverage last year at Laguna. I can't stand Greg White and all they did was focus on Hayden's dad. I just hope the coverage is better this year but I am not holding my breath.
Let's hope Junior can still hold race pace throughout as it seems like him and Hopkins can qualify, but poor tire selection and/or chassis set-up has provided dismal finishing positions by the end. I'd love to see a Red, White & Blue podium.

Doesn't mean it'll slow him down because he's been very very quick this year. He's also 68 points ahead of KR.

It still surprises me because it's also the home track for Nicky as well as Hopkins and Colin. Plus Rossi came in 3rd last year and it was his 1st time ever riding Laguna Seca. KR just isn't the same caliber as the lead pack just yet. We'll have to see if he can hang on to 1st through all 32 laps.
And to throw in Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner in the mix.. and well as how well Capirossi is doing.. boy is it gonna be an exciting race.
