Default Information on 03 CBR 600 sprocket

I've been thinking about doing sprocket changes on my bike to get a little more accel around town. I don't stunt or track( although I may in the future) the bike, I may ride a little spirted at times but thats about as far as it goes. So what would be the best and least stressful set up to go with. Thanks for any reply's.

You can go -1 down in the front whice is what I did because its cheap ($30). You can also go -1, +2 but then you have to get a new chain. You should also get a speedhealer to correct your speedo.

The stock chain will be fine with a -1, +2.
Although since you will be changing the sprockets you might as well get the chain as well.
If you would just do the -1 front you can get away with out getting a speedo healer. You would only be off a couple MPH's. If you do both you will need a speedo healer. you will be off by alot and your millage will not count right.

You can buy 520 Kits with chain and sprockets all over the place it is not that expensive at all.

I went -1 +2 on mine and its a huge difference to me. I bought a speedo healer after the first ride though. It was WAAAYYY off.

I also had to take a link out of my chain when if came. Everyone told me that 110 links like the stock chain would do fine, but to get the chain adjustment right it was almost at the replace mark. So I tool out one link and it worked perfectly.
