ok for those of you that have wired your horn button to work with your aftermarket steering wheel, have you had problems with the wire that goes to the horn contact ripping itself out?
the problem with mine is that on the NRG slim hub (dunno about any other hubs) the horn contact isnt "locked" into the hub in any way, so when i turn the wheel the wire gets pulled out of its little connector on the contact b/c the contact doesnt turn with the hub. ive tried using a longer wire but it just gets snagged on something in there and rips out too.
i was thinking about supergluing it but id rather not do something so permanent lol
any help is appreciated.

iono if this'll help ya but what I've seen rally racers do (professionals) is hook a wire up that's like a phone cord (springy like) - and it just hangs down like 4 inches where the ignition is, and it stretches when they turn the wheel...but they usually hook the wire up permanetely to the button, by like soddering it or something...

Im trying to keep my wiring reel and everything prior in tact. Is the connector on the reel a mirror of the yellow connector yall showed or is it different? Mine has wires in slots 1,2, and 4 or 6,5, and for depend on which way its supposed to be and all of them are black with silver dots. I know the wire in 4 is the positive going to the horns, but i need to know which of the other two is the airbag negative and the horn negative.
