Default AEM dry flow filter Vs APEIi dry flow filter

Does anyone know of any articles that compare these two ?

I have found articles of AEM vs everything else but Apex and the other the apex dry flow was compared to the AEM oiled.

I want to replace my AEM oiled filter.

Any help . Thanks

There was a test done between the Apexi, K&N and another brand. Apexi did the best at filtering and airflow.

yeah read that article however if you read it it is between the Apexi non oiled filter and the K&N oiled filter.

Now AEM have a non oil filter which i have read up on and it was the best, however it was not put up against the APEXI no oiled version

^ IMO, no. They help trap dirt and other particles better.

I've used both AEM and Apex'i (current one) dry filters. To be honest, I can't tell the difference at all, but tests that I read all showed Apex'i being king.

The only disadvantage to oiled filters is that they need more frequent cleaning and iirc, you need to re-oil it from time to time.

But isn't there like a 25,000 mile interval between re-oiling the filter anyway? Thats not too much maintenance.

if you want the best filtering and most air flow go w/ an AFE (advanced flow engineering) proguard 7 oiled filter.

they are the best, period.

if you prefer a dry filter, AMSOIL NANOFIBER filters are the way to go. they offer the best filtering and most air flow of any DRY filter on the market today. this is what i am using now.

aem and apexi are among many trendy, high priced products on the import scene today that do not perform as well as they should.
