Why would you even buy a part as important as a clutch off of ebay?
So when it wears down in 2 days?
Or maybe itll just shatter..
Spend 40 dollars on a clutch.. then spend 800 on a tranny.. or spend 200 on a clutch and have it last 10 times longer
But anyway... Its fairly easy to replace the clutch, as long as you have some mechanical skills
You need to discconect the drive shafts, drain the tranny fluid
Disconnect the clutch and shift linkages,
Then you have to removed the tranny, You have to locate the bolts that hold it on
Then drop the tranny down, remove the pressure plate, then
take the clutch off, it should just slide out
you have to replace the flywheel or get it resurfaced, or your gonna end up dropping the trans again to get the flyhweel off u gotta take it off with an impact gun
Its just like when u change the timing belt u gotta change the water pump
anyway back to the clutch
clean the inside of the bell housing, lube up the clutch fork and throw out bearing
then u gotta hit the new pilot bearing flush with the tranny side of the flywheel
When reinstalling the clutch u have to use the alinment tool, put the clutch on, then put the tool in, keep the tool in and put the pressure plate on, use a torque wrench to tigten the bolts, then tightehn them diagonaly
u have to torque them down but im not sure of the specs.
After u tighten them up, check to see if the clutch is alinged, thats it
Reinstall the tranny, DONT FORCE IT, if its not going back on with little or no force then the clutch is missaligned and u have to realign it with the tool

No you don't. This is a common misconception. I've put in clutches without doing anything to the flywheel with absolutely no problems at all. Most recent one I did was on my H22 where I put an Exedy stage 2 clutch in. Didn't do anything with the flywheel and it works great.
