Default xenon lights

ok so i noticed that xenon light bulbs have a kind of blueish tint to them. i wanted to get super white for my turn signals and for my side marker lights. but blue is illegal for front turn signas. but then only have them in super white xenon. would that be illegal or would that just eb considered white.

i think the spectrum is from that bluish tint to like a "Mac" White. so i think super white xenon means its just pure white but bright as hell, you should be ok

blueish tint of the fake hid/xenon blub have little to do with kelvin, there's a coat of blue color tint(or any color for that matter), once the yellowish/stock looking light pass thru the transparent blue tint, the output light will be much blue/white-er.

notice there's a loss of visible light in the transition, that's why those blub usually are higher in wattage.

there's a chrome looking blub by piaa that will blink pure white for the blinkers

Why don't you just do it right and have a retrofit done on your lights with HID projectors?

Dude, you will be very disappointed doing the bulbs. The higher the Kevin rating on the bulbs the more blue / purple the light will be, however you don't be able to see the road because visablity/brightness will decrease signifciantly. I had a retrofit done on my headlights with S2000 projectors that were color modified - they are very sharp - brightest projector on the market - and very crisp cutoff line. Simply amazing ....
