I'm putting an A6 in my friend's stock HF. We were planning on using the HF dizzy, since it worked fine when we ran the car with the PM6. Will the dizzy bolt up to the A6 head (I'm not there so I can't look at it)? What other wiring needs to be changed/removed/added?

HF and Si use the same distributor - use the HF engine harness and most everything will plug right into the A6 - the HF harness will have a connector for the EGR valve which won't be needed since A6 doesn't have EGR - just tape it back to the harness - if the A6 is 89-91 (not 88) it will have a Fast Idle Control Valve on the back of the intake manifold on the driver's side - the HF harness will not have a connector for the FICV - you could either wire up the FICV or just cap the vacuum lines for it and leave it not connected - its only function is to boost the idle slightly when the outside air temperature is below -10C (14F)
