Default car wont rev past 6,000 rpm

hi, i have a 90 civic si hatch, i slapped a z6 head, manifold and a aem adjustable cam gear on the stock a6 block, converted it to obd1 with the z6 dizzy, ecu, and jumper harness....i go to turn it on and everything is fine idles fine, but when i bring the rpms up, it wont rev past 6,000 rpm...car starts to loose power at 4500 rpm....feels like its hitting a rev limiter at 6000....tried ecu in another car and it goes fine up to 7000 rpm...no cel...any idea what it is....

Did you wire vtec? Cause your non-vtec cut is 6000rpm. And you wouldn't have power after 4800rpm cause you are suppose to be in vtec.
